In the beginning of November, New York finalized new air emission regulations for distributed generators across the state. These regulations, known as Part 222, limit nitrogen oxides (NOx) and particular matter (PM) from smaller electric generation sources. John Barnes of the New York State Department of Environmental Conservations and Robert Loughney of Couch White, LLP will explain the new rules and discuss their implications for combined heat and power systems in the state.
