NECHPI's Policy Committee continues to set the tone in the Reforming the Energy Vision and related proceedings in New York. Over the last month, we've actively pushed NY's Public Service Commission on vital issues relating to how CHP will be valued in the new energy marketplace envisioned by REV. A list of our filings follows:
- NECHPI filed comments and reply comments on the Cost-Benefit Analysis White Paper in REV, emphasizing missing benefit categories and consideration of alternative evaluation frameworks that impact distributed generation.
- NECHPI filed comments and reply comments in the proceeding on New York's Clean Energy Fund, emphasizing the importance of fuel-neutrality in the design, implementation and management of existing and new programs.
- NECHPI filed reply comments in the Large Scale Renewables proceeding, emphasizing the importance of CHP alongside other low-carbon sources in helping the State meet its environmental goals.
